The status of each connected channel (On-air*5 status, channel number, etc.) is sent to the connected CDJ-2000 or CDJ-900. The color of the JOG ring light of the player changes for the current on-air*5 channel, allowing the current status to be checked at a glance during DJ play and provides a sense of reassurance.
Internal USB Audio Interface
The mixer is equipped with a USB Audio Interface, which allows the audio signal of music playing on a computer to be input to the DJM-2000 via a USB connection with the computer*6. This makes it possible to use a computer, even without an external sound card, for DJ play.
From one computer up to a maximum of 4 sources of audio signal can be assigned to each channel. It is also possible to output the master output to the computer. This makes it extremely convenient to record the mixed audio.

DJ BLACKICE started DJing in 2004, at Taiping Perak, when he was 18 years old, specializing in R&B and HOUSE music, named “TRIBAL BLOC”. His first club hit was “JR TAIPING”, which made him fine tuned with various deejays mixng with electro vibe back in small town . Joined with DJ MASTA X one of old skool DJ from north of Malaysia DJ BLACKICE is specializes in street, beach and house parties.
He is also into music whereby composing mix tapes genres like R&B and House. DJ BLACKICE is not only a full-fledged DJ, but a natural born entertainer, his interest and love towards music has made him able to play any type of music at anytime anywhere everywhere.

DJ BackSlash: DJ/Producer
When spoken to about music and how it’s engineering the future, Kesh says, “It will probably have everything to do with me. Music is the bloodline that will always keep me alive”. Once a member of homegrown ‘live’ drum and bass outfit Spacebar, he is a self-taught DJ/producer and also a recording artiste for local Malaysian drum and bass label “Take Off” and Loops Collective. He produced the dance-floor filler track ‘The Way I Feel’ on the recent “Extended” volume 2 Drum and Bass compilation, which also featured big names like DJ SUV and Utah Jazz. Two of his recent tracks “Backtracker” and “We Are Speaking” were chosen from a long list of Malaysian music producers and was featured on the Choons Awards 2009 compilation CD.
Backslash has also played in many venues around the club circuit since the early 90′s such Energy (former FIRE Discotheque -96′), The Backroom KL (2000), Clubhouse, DV8, Movement, Ruums, Thumper (Sg), Centro, Poppy Collection, and recently adopting residency at The Palace @ Sheraton Imperial KL and Desire @ The Manor. He has performed alongside internationally renowned DJs such as Josh Wink, DJ Cash Money, DJ Yoda, Jon Carter a.k.a Junior Cartier, Roger Sanchez, DJ Love Dinero (The Mixtape General) and Asian Dub Foundation just to name a few.
Being actively involved in the scene, he was also nominated for Best Hip Hop/RNB DJ category for CHOONS AWARDS 2010 and also Clubbing9ine.com’s Top DJ Awards 2010.His musical styles consist of randomly selected genres from R&B to Ol’ Skool, Hip Hop to G-Funk,Reggae to Dancehall, House to Break-beat and Drum n’ Bass accompanied by Guest MC’s. With generous servings of pure urban and commercial tunes and the added touch of pure turntablism paraphernalia to his sets, you would love to watch this DJ in action. Surging energy by the abundance to the forefront of the dance-floor is what you’re going to expect from him at his gigs. Backslash is set to entertain and bring the larger audience together every time the occasion arises. Previously adopting residency at Poppy Collection, its Soul Seduction signature nights in Poppy Garden every Fridays and Saturdays, was known to be one of the biggest Hip Hop and R&B parties in Kuala Lumpur and still holds strong till this very day.
DJ MCDave : DJ, Rapper & Emcee
DJ MCDave is one of those DJ’s that can rock any club, any crowd, any genre at any day. He engages and interacts with the crowd and knows how to bring the energy levels up. DJ MCDave started DJing since 1989 and learned the art of mixing on Vinyls. DJ MCDave by profession is a certified IT Professional (Certified Data Center Professional & Certified Business Continuity Professional) with more than 15 years experience in the field of IT Infrastructure, IT Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity, Storage Area Network (SAN), Project Management and Data Center Management. He has great passion in the field IT as much as in music. His profession as an IT Consultant during the day and DJ/MC at night differentiates him from other DJs. DJ MCDave was born in Kuala Lumpur and developed a love of music at an early age of 7 years. He started spinning vinyls early 90s at house parties and small clubs using his friend’s equipment as a training ground and learned the art of mixing.
DJ MCDave was the official Broadcasting DJ for Salem Power Station in Kuala Lumpur. He learned the art of mixing on Vinyl and was the resident DJ at the Cellar, Royal Selangor Club. His music knowledge spans not only from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s but the current R&B as well, which gave him the advantage in choosing the right tune for the crowd. In addition, he is very meticulous in mixing the right track to ensure there is good harmonic mixing which is used by top DJs all over the world. He was one of the pioneers in Malaysia utilizing the new Digital Vinyl System technology( Serato Scratch Live & Traktor Scratch Pro) and with an exceptional mixing skills, he is able to spin different types of genres from Funk, Latin, Dance hall, Old School Retro, R&B, Soul, Hip Hop, RAP, House, Reggaeton, Korean, Hindi, Bhangra and Tamil.
It was his ability to mix different type of genres and scratching techniques using vinyl that built a quick reputation and had him spinning as Guess DJ around the globe. From South East Asia at Tabu Club – Sri Lanka, Chimes – Singapore to North America at Club Retro – California, 90 Degrees – Florida, Cameo – Florida, Skky Bar- Oklahoma, Club Bliss- Texas, Mansion- Florida to Malaysia at Vanity Mansion, Neutral Club, Envy Club, Hex, The Palace, Lava, Vogue The Club, Long Bar, Finnegans, Hops & Grapes, Borneo Rainforest, Hello Bali, 32 Bistro, Sutraa just to name a few. He was the official DJ for Pullman Putrajaya’s 2011 and Tropicana Golf & Country Club’s 2010 New Year’s Countdown.
DJ MCDave was the official Emcee for events such as Circue Du Freak- Halloween Party at Finnegans Hartamas, Halloween Bash at Lava Bistro, Oktober Fest at Finnegans (Hartamas, Mid Valley & Changkat Bukit Bintang), Lady of Guadalupe Dinner & Dance at Marriot Putrajaya, New Year’s Eve Dinner & Dance at Tropicana Golf Country Resort, Logica Year End Annual Dinner at Borneo Rainforest and other official events. He also performed an Old Skool Rap song LIVE at Old Skool vs New Skool Nite and A Tribute to Old Skool Nite. DJ MCDave is the founder of SoundKontrols under the parent company SK EVENTS. SoundKontrols specializes in organizing large “EXCLUSIVE” Events for corporate clients. He was the man reviving the Old Skool Hits in Malaysia by organizing two big and successful events called “A Tribute to Old Skool Nite” and “Old Skool vs New Skool Nite”. In addition he is the founder of SoundKontrols DJ Academy which was established in 2010 to assist in developing quality DJs which are very scare in today’s entertainment world.
DJ MCDave holds Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Oklahoma, Norman, USA and Masters in Business Administration from Edith Cowan University, Perth, Australia. DJ MCDave is a Certified Serato Scratch Trainer and Certified Traktor Scratch Trainer. He is also Certified NASM Personal Trainer & Certified Acoustic Consultant.
