DJ Jonathan - “I was highly recommended to SoundKontrols DJ Academy by my friend DJ Blackice who was also a former student. I saw his performance as a different DJ than what he was before and when I asked him how did u obtain these PRO Skills, he smiled and told me he went to an Academy to learn it. The Academy he referred too was none other than this Academy. I was able to mix as a beginner, but after just attending 2 classes with MCDave, I could beat match immediately. It was the technique that was taught which allowed me to grasp in less than 4 hours in total. This was a big milestone for someone like me who did not know where my mistakes were. Enrolling in DJ 102 – Advanced Mixing taught me more than just mixing 2 songs together. I wanted to perform as an entertainer more than just being another DJ in town. DJ Venky– “It was a new place and a long trip for someone like me to travel all the way from Hyderabad, India to learn Advanced Mixing, Scratching and Music Production classes in Malaysia. I was highly recommended by my child hood friend who came and met MCDave and suggested me that the best place to learn in at SoundKontrols DJ Academy. I got the opportunity to learn every aspect of Traktor Scratch in a detailed and structured way. I use Traktor but really did not know how powerful the software was until I came to meet MCDave who taught me everything there is to know about Traktor. This is what I was looking for as I there was nobody in India that had the knowledge and experience using the Traktor extensively. I also learning the art of scratching and Music Production using Maschine and Ableton Live. Overall, I was happy and satisfied with what I gain from the Academy. DJ Hanz- “My dream to become a DJ came thru after I learned the art of mixing at SoundKontrols DJ Academy. It took me awhile to master the turntable, but with guidance from MCDave, I was able to pick up the skills within a few classes only. I learned to mix different types of genres which includes Bhangra, Bollywood and Top 40 R&B Hits. We learn both theory and practical. This gave me a much better inside about music production and how songs were produced. I soon found out that to become a good DJ, I need to be versatile and that is what I got out from the Academy, Versatility. DJ Ramu- “Having to spin as Professional DJ in China for many years, I was confident that I knew everything about DJing. However, I was wrong and learned that there is more to DJing than just mixing two tracks back and forth. DJ MRoshan- “As a starter and also a 14 year old teenager, I was clueless about the art of mixing. Nevertheless, I decided to enroll and learn the art of DJing which much more than just mixing. I learned techniques which most DJs hardly use or even knew it existed. I acquired all the knowledge within 8 weeks , learning as a beginner to advance mixing course.
